Nicolas Strubel obtained his engineering diploma in mechanical engineering from the Polytech Lille engineering school in 2019. He then completed an industrial PhD in vibro-acoustics at the LaMcube laboratory from the University of Lille in 2023, in partnership with Hitachi Astemo. Focused on brake squeal mechanisms and the influence of contact localizations, his PhD work dealt with investigations on friction-induced noises, multiphysics and multiscale modeling, and experimental validations.
Working as a SIMULIA R&D Technology Specialist at Dassault Systèmes, Nicolas helps at developing SIMULIA Manatee software via his competencies in vibro-acoustics, working on research and application projects concentrated on electric motor noise prediction and control.
