Niko holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Zagreb where he is also currently pursuing a PhD, his research is primarily focused on tooth root load capacity of gears with asymmetric tooth profile as well as genetic optimization of cylindrical gear macro geometry. Currently working as a Gearbox Design Engineer at Rimac Technology, he specializes in gear macro geometry and micro geometry optimization, load-carrying capacity calculation of cylindrical gears and bearings, and gearbox power loss/efficiency analysis.
