The Automotive Solution Center for Simulation e.V. – asc(s was founded 2008 as a non-profit research association. The asc(s head office in Stuttgart pursues the aim of promoting application-oriented research in the field of automotive engineering by the use of information and communication technology. It also supports the accelerated transfer of scientific findings from the field of numerical simulation to industrial applications. The asc(s network currently consists of 35 members from science and automotive industry. Since 2018 the asc(s is operator of the ENVITED marketplace (www.envited.market) – an open community platform for stakeholders who are involved in the virtual design, validation and certification process of highly automated driving functions. The ENVITED marketplace offers ist members a compliant cross-organizational framework for research, high quality test data, concepts for trustfull and tracable data exchange as well as strengthening the quantity and quality of simulation experts.
